In recent years, the use of 3D programs in Dutch ship-building has increased considerably, especially at the engineering stage. The drawing-software packages offer many advantages compared to the traditional drawing-board. Ankerbeer is fully familiar with the NUPAS-Cadmatic package and supplies digital drawings that take over the function of the scriber ­ employed by the steel-supplier or by the shipyard. Repetitive work as well as errors are avoided this way.
 

Quality is not only a matter of good performance. It also means sharing ideas with the client, honouring agreements, and arriving at clear price agreements. The application of innovations, such as the constant optimisation of design lines enabling maximum performance at the lowest possible engine capacity, is something we regard as a quality aspect, too.
 

It goes without saying that Ankerbeer's engineering is in compliance with the standards set by the classification agencies, e.g. Lloyds Register of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, Bureau Veritas. In addition, we observe the statutory regulations of the country where the ship is, or will be registered. You will thus be sure of maximum quality assurance.
